Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long holds working session with The Asia Group
At noon on March 30, 2026, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long held a working session with The Asia Group (US), led by Daniel Kritenbrink, Member of the Board of Directors.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Agency of Foreign Markets Development, the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal, the Electricity Authority, and the Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industry Promotion.
During the session, Kritenbrink, former US Ambassador to Vietnam and former US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs expressed positive impressions of his long-standing engagement with Vietnam. On behalf of major US enterprises, he affirmed that Vietnam is a strategic market with strong growth prospects. US investors, he noted, are ready to expand their presence and scale up investment to support the Government and people of Vietnam in achieving sustainable socio-economic development goals.
Assessing the macroeconomic landscape, Kritenbrink expressed appreciation for the resilience of Vietnam’s economy. Amid global geopolitical volatility exerting pressure on international supply chains, Vietnam has demonstrated flexibility and effective responsiveness.
