On October 30, 2025, on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting held in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, Singapore and Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) on Rice Trade. The MOC was signed by Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations of Singapore and Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam Nguyen Hong Dien. 

On the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien met Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao to strengthen bilateral trade and cooperation.
