On June 29, 2026, at the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry in Jerusalem, Ambassador of Vietnam to Israel Nguyen Ky Son held a working session with Minister Nir Barkat on strengthening the implementation of the bilateral Free Trade Agreement (VIFTA), contributing to further expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, particularly in trade exchange and industrial cooperation, as well as promoting the convening of the Intergovernmental Committee (Joint Committee) between Vietnam and Israel.

On May 21, 2026, in Chongqing, China, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan led a Vietnamese delegation to attend the 8th Western China International Investment and Trade Fair (WCIFIT) under the theme “New Western China - New Manufacturing - New Services.” The event is a key platform within China’s Western Development Strategy and is hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government.

On May 8, 2026, at the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore, the Embassy and the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore jointly organized a meeting with representatives of Vietnamese-owned businesses operating in Singapore.
