Vietnam and Russia officially commit to nuclear power development
During the official visit of Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh to the Russian Federation on March 23, 2026, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Russian Prime Minister M. Mishustin witnessed the signing ceremony of an agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in constructing a nuclear power plant on Vietnamese territory (the Agreement).
