Electricity Regulatory Authority of Viet Nam (ERAV) performs the function of advising and assisting the Minister of Industry and Trade in state management and law enforcement in the field of electricity regulation; implement the task of regulating electricity activities in order to supply electricity safely, stably, with quality, use electricity economically and efficiently, and ensure fairness and transparency; organize and manage public service activities in the field and scope of management of ERAV according to the provisions of law and decentralization and authorization of the Minister.
