On the occasion of the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026), on behalf of the Party Committee and leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Le Manh Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of Industry and Trade, extends his warm regards and best wishes to generations of officials, journalists and communications professionals across the industry and trade sector.

From June 16 to 19, 2026, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung accompanied Prime Minister Le Minh Hung to the ASEAN - Russia Commemorative Summit marking the 35th anniversary of ASEAN - Russia relations in Kazan, the Russian Federation. During the visit, Minister Le Manh Hung participated in the Prime Minister’s meetings with leaders of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and Zarubezhneft JSC, helping advance cooperation in strategic energy sectors between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung led a high-level Vietnamese delegation to attend the ASEAN - Russia Commemorative Summit marking the 35th anniversary of dialogue relations, held in Kazan, Russian Federation, from June 16 to 18, 2026.

On the afternoon of June 11, at the Ministry of Industry and Trade headquarters, Minister Le Manh Hung held a working session with the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) and the National Competition Commission (NCC). The meeting aimed to review the implementation of tasks since the beginning of 2026 and discuss key priorities for the coming period. Representatives of various units under the Ministry also attended the session.

On 5 June 2026, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Minister Le Manh Hung held a working session with Eric M. Hambly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Murphy Oil Corporation.

On the morning of June 4, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung held a working session with the Multilateral Trade Policy Department and the Office of the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee for International Economic Integration.

As part of the State Visit to the Republic of the Philippines by General Secretary and State President To Lam and his spouse from May 31 to June 1, 2026, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung joined the high-level Vietnamese delegation and participated in a series of important activities aimed at strengthening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

As part of the State visit to Singapore and participation in the 23rd Shangri-La Dialogue by General Secretary and State President To Lam and his spouse from May 29 - 30, 2026, Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung joined the high-level Vietnamese delegation in official engagements and carried out a series of bilateral activities aimed at advancing cooperation in economic affairs, trade, industry, energy, and supply chain connectivity between Vietnam and Singapore.

At the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, General Secretary and State President To Lam and his spouse, together with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand from 27 to 28 May 2026. Minister Le Manh Hung was part of the delegation and carried out a series of activities aimed at promoting cooperation in economy, trade, industry and energy between Vietnam and Thailand.

On the afternoon of May 26, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), Minister Le Manh Hung chaired a conference with energy groups, corporations and localities on ensuring electricity supply during the 2026 dry season peak.

On the morning of May 26, Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc, who also serves as Head of the State Steering Committee for nationally significant and priority energy-sector programmes, projects and works, chaired a meeting to review the implementation status and proposed solutions for the revised National Power Development Plan for 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, as well as the progress of key national and strategic energy projects.
