MoIT leader works with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister

From May 12-17, 2024, a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) led by Minister Nguyen Hong Dien is visiting Kazakhstan and Bulgaria. The delegation is attending sessions of the Intergovernmental Committees between Vietnam and the two countries, and engaging in a series of other activities.

On May 15, 2024, at the headquarters of Kazakh's Government, on the occasion of the 11th session of the Vietnam-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Committee on Economic, Trade, Sscientific and Technical Cooperation, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin.

The meeting was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Pham Thai Nhu Mai, leaders of the agencies, departments and functional units under the MoIT, and representatives from some other relevant ministries and sectors.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien informed Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin about the overall situation of economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Kazakhstan, and proposed specific solutions to promote bilateral cooperation.
