Polish businesses eye Vietnam as a promising market for trade and investment

Lodz Province, Poland, places great importance on expanding cooperative relations with partners both within and beyond the European Union. In early August this year, the provincial leadership is expected to lead a trade promotion mission to Southeast Asia, with Ho Chi Minh City among its key destinations.

At the seminar titled “Accessing the Vietnamese Market - Opportunities to Promote Import-Export Activities, Legal Frameworks and Cultural Considerations in Vietnam”, a large number of businesses from Lodz Province operating in food processing, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, electronic components, and medical technology sectors actively exchanged views and sought information on potential trade cooperation opportunities, as well as Vietnam’s preferential legal frameworks and policies designed to attract foreign investment.

Participants attended the seminar on Vietnam held in Lodz on June 3, 2026.

Representatives of the Vietnam Trade Office presented an overview of Vietnam’s economy and promoted trade promotion events scheduled for 2026.

As two countries that have accompanied each other in the transition toward market-oriented economies, participating enterprises expressed their appreciation for Vietnam’s remarkable development achievements and expressed confidence that the potential for bilateral cooperation extends far beyond trade exchanges. They believe collaboration can expand into investment, technology and other strategic sectors, including investment flows from Vietnam - Poland.

Roman Kosiński, Chief Executive Officer of investment funds KORONA S.A and WARTA S.A, said he had closely followed the development of several major Vietnamese conglomerates and hoped to explore partnership opportunities with them to invest in Poland in areas such as real estate, healthcare and education.
