Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, along with leaders of the Party and the State, as well as representatives of ministries, sectors and local authorities, attended the Closing Ceremony of the First Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair - 2025.

A forum for trade and investment promotion

In his address, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasised that after ten days of vibrant, professional and inspiring activities at the Vietnam National Exhibition Centre, “we are delighted and honoured to solemnly hold the Closing Ceremony of the First Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair - 2025.”

He affirmed that the event marked a promising beginning, opening a new chapter for Vietnam’s series of large-scale, internationally oriented trade, investment and cultural promotion events in the new era.

The Prime Minister stressed that, true to its theme “Connecting People with Business and Production,” the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair served as a substantive platform for investment and trade promotion, reinforcing the principle that people are the centre, the driving force and the ultimate beneficiaries of all business, production and consumption activities.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered a speech at the Closing Ceremony.

The Fair attracted more than one million visitors, along with thousands of business-matching sessions, commercial contracts and memoranda of understanding on investment cooperation and technology transfer between Vietnamese and foreign enterprises, reaching a total commercial value of nearly VND 5,000 billion.

Direct sales at the fair and through online channels increased by 40 - 45% compared with the average results of recent national trade promotion events, thereby generating thousands of jobs and supporting livelihoods. This, the Prime Minister noted, reaffirmed the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair as an effective mechanism for boosting domestic consumption, a key driver for production and import - export growth, a dynamic connector of global commercial cooperation, and a fresh catalyst for Vietnam’s traditional growth engines in the digital era.

The First Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair - 2025 also evolved into a festival of creative technology, culture and the arts, demonstrating that economic development must go hand in hand with social, cultural and human development. Beyond commercial displays and transactions, the event shaped a multi-dimensional space where modern technology blended harmoniously with traditional cultural values.

With five exhibition zones, more than 3,000 booths and over 2,500 participating enterprises, the Fair offered visitors a cross-Vietnam journey showcasing the vitality of Vietnamese products. Each booth represented a cultural fragment and a distinctive story of its locality and people, featuring both high-tech industrial products and green energy solutions, as well as art, handicrafts and regional specialties. It was also an engaging space for shopping, entertainment and culinary festivals.

Many Vietnamese products received high praise from international partners, opening new export opportunities and helping strengthen the global presence of Vietnamese brands.

“The success of the First Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair - 2025 confirms that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive in terms of scale and growth rate, but is also a safe, friendly and promising destination for both domestic and international investors,” the Prime Minister affirmed.

He further highlighted that the Fair symbolised the collective spirit of unity and the shared aspiration for national development, reflecting confidence in a dynamic, innovative and future-oriented Vietnam. This success, he continued, stems from the Party’s sound leadership, the Government’s flexible and decisive governance, the engagement of the entire political system, the support of the people and the pioneering role of the business community - working in concert with international partners.

On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister extended his appreciation to ministries, sectors, local authorities, the business community, the public, organisations and international friends who contributed to the success of the event.

A humanitarian message: “Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love”

During the Opening Ceremony, the Prime Minister launched the humanitarian initiative “Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love,” calling on businesses and citizens nationwide to donate in support of communities affected by natural disasters. To date, nearly VND 400 billion has been raised through this campaign for flood-stricken areas in central Vietnam.

A representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the agency acting on behalf of the Vietnamese people to receive donations in support of those affected by storms and natural disasters, accepted contributions from organizations and enterprises.

With emotion, the Prime Minister said: “On behalf of the Party and State, I sincerely thank all those who have shown generosity and compassion toward the disaster-affected people. This spirit of solidarity and humanity is one of the most noble values of our nation, a great internal strength for Vietnam to move forward confidently and sustainably.”

He noted that central provinces have suffered severe losses from recent storms and floods and will soon face the impact of Storm No. 13, now intensifying in the East Sea. He once again called for collective support under the principle that “those with resources contribute resources, those with labour contribute labour,” encouraging businesses, citizens and soldiers nationwide to continue standing with affected communities so they may recover livelihoods and resume production.

Preparing for the First Vietnam Golden Spring Fair - 2026

The First Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair - 2025 concluded with impressive figures and strong momentum. To build on these achievements, the Prime Minister proposed five directions:

The Ministry of Industry and Trade should institutionalise the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair as an annual, modern and effective event, and urgently develop a plan for the successful organisation of the First Vietnam Golden Spring Fair - 2026.

Ministries, sectors and localities should turn the commitments and agreements reached at the Fair into concrete projects, products and socio-economic benefits for the people.

Industry associations and the business community should continue innovating, strengthening the value of Vietnamese brands, contributing to national development and fulfilling social responsibility, especially towards disaster-affected areas.

International partners and organisations are encouraged to continue supporting Vietnam in trade, investment, technology transfer and human-resource development in green, digital and sustainable growth.

All stakeholders should work together to connect people with people, people with the economy, culture and society, thereby spreading Vietnamese values internationally in a warm, humane and meaningful way.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh concluded that with today’s achievements and goodwill, Vietnam has every reason to believe that the spirit of innovation, cooperation and national aspiration will continue to flourish, fuelling the country’s growth and integration in the years ahead.

The Closing Ceremony also honoured outstanding organisations and enterprises participating in the Fair, and formally received donations for people affected by storms and floods in central and northern mountainous provinces.
