Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair bridges firms to global markets

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expresses confidence that Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 will pave the way for Vietnam to become a leading exhibition hub in Asia.

On October 25, the opening ceremony of the first Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025 took place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh, Hanoi. Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered the keynote address.

Also attending the ceremony were Politburo members Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang, President of the Central Theoretical Council and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Nguyen Van Nen, Head of the 14th National Party Congress Documents Sub-committee; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; and General Trinh Van Quyet, Chairman of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army.

From the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and leaders of departments and institutes attended, alongside Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, and leaders from 34 provinces and cities, ministries, and enterprises from both Vietnam and abroad.

Continuing the success of the “80 years of independence and development” exhibition

In his remarks, Prime Minister Chinh highlighted the vibrant spirit of Hanoi’s autumn, a season symbolizing renewal and aspiration, as the entire nation races to fulfill socio-economic development goals for 2025 and the 2021–2025 term, ahead of the 14th National Party Congress.

At the thousand-year-old capital, a “City for Peace,” the Prime Minister expressed his delight in attending a national and international-scale event that not only celebrates Vietnamese products and brands but also promotes domestic consumption and the “Vietnamese prioritize Vietnamese goods” campaign. The fair, he stressed, is a driver for trade, investment, and international integration, contributing to the target of achieving over 8% economic growth in 2025 and double-digit expansion in subsequent years.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivers the opening remarks

Extending warm greetings to distinguished guests, leaders, and attendees from home and abroad, PM Chinh underlined that the fair, running from October 25 to November 4 at the National Exhibition Center, embodies the innovative, cooperative, and forward-looking spirit of modern Vietnam. It follows the success of the “80 Years of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness” exhibition, evoking patriotism, pride, and the nation’s enduring determination for progress.

Under the theme “Connecting people, building prosperity”, the fair features more than 130,000 square meters of space, divided into five thematic zones with nearly 3,000 booths and cultural, culinary sections from 34 localities. More than 2,500 organizations and enterprises are showcasing diverse products, while art and cultural programs enrich the visitor experience.

PM Chinh praised the organizers for their professionalism in preparing such a large-scale event in a short time, calling it an achievement marked by “six superlatives”, the largest scale, most modern space, richest product range, highest quality, most engaging activities, and best incentives.

He described the Autumn Fair as “a vivid testament to Vietnam’s integration mindset, creative capacity, and aspiration for growth,” symbolizing unity and determination across government, localities, enterprises, and citizens.

Beyond record numbers, the fair serves as a platform for trade, investment, and tourism promotion, connecting domestic and international resources, expanding consumption, and stimulating cooperation. It offers visitors not only high-quality Vietnamese products but also cultural and artistic experiences that reflect the richness of Vietnam and its global partners.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the fair acts as an important bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to strengthen global integration, exchange expertise, and embrace technology transfer, especially in digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy, and knowledge-based growth. These, he said, are practical steps toward realizing the vision of “a peaceful, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam.”

Towards becoming a leading exhibition hub in Asia

With its strategic location and strong development ambitions, PM Chinh expressed confidence that Vietnam will gradually become one of Asia’s premier exhibition destinations, a regional hub for international trade fairs and a center for cultural and creative industries, as emphasized by Party General Secretary To Lam.

He thanked and commended the MoIT, ministries, localities, enterprises, citizens, and international friends for their contributions to the success of the event.

Expressing deep sympathy for people in central and northern provinces affected by floods and landslides, PM Chinh called on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, enterprises, and citizens nationwide to continue supporting affected communities.

“This solidarity reflects the compassion and humanity of our people, a vivid expression of the noble values inherent in our nation and system”, he stressed.

To make the Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair a “destination for trade, culture, and creativity, a place of vibrant connection for Vietnamese and international friends”, the Prime Minister urged the MoIT to prepare for an annual “Four Seasons Fair” series; ministries and localities to promote their products, trade, investment, and tourism; and Hanoi to ensure safety and convenience for visitors.

He also called on enterprises and associations to diversify products, markets, and supply chains, while strengthening international partnerships. PM Chinh encouraged international organizations to enhance cooperation and help promote the fair globally, and asked the media to further highlight Vietnam’s creativity, entrepreneurship, and national pride.

Ahead of the opening ceremony of the first Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien meets and exchanges with business partners.

“By inaugurating the first Autumn Fair 2025, we are not only opening a space that connects businesses and consumers, Vietnam and the world, but also igniting creativity, affirming the intellect, resilience, and aspiration of the Vietnamese people”, the Prime Minister affirmed.

He expressed firm belief that the fair’s success will inspire renewed confidence and determination to propel the nation toward new heights, strengthening Vietnam’s stature and reputation on the global stage.

With that spirit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh officially declared the opening of the first Vietnam Golden Autumn Fair 2025.
