Deputy Prime Minister commends ministries, sectors, and localities for their efforts
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized that although today was a weekend, with a high sense of urgency and responsibility, all parties continued to work hard to contribute to the success of the Autumn Fair 2025 - an event held for the first time in Vietnam.
As reported, the Fair will feature 3,000 booths with the participation of approximately 2,500 enterprises and organizations, demonstrating its strong appeal and scale.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Son, since the Prime Minister’s directive to organize the Autumn Fair, only one month has passed, and merely three weeks since the project’s approval. Yet, in such a short time, the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, and related units have worked intensively and decisively.
After hearing reports from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Standing Body of the Steering Committee, and opinions from Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and representatives of other ministries and sectors, the Deputy Prime Minister concluded as follows:
Regarding the progress of booth completion and preparation: He commended the sense of urgency and responsibility shown by ministries, sectors, and localities in implementing the conclusions from October 4 and October 12. All units must ensure timely completion of all construction items leading up to the Opening Ceremony.

The Command of the Guard shall cooperate with the Ministry of Public Security and particularly with the Hanoi Police to ensure security, order, and safety throughout the Fair.
Regarding social responsibility activities: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was requested to work with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize fundraising activities in support of communities affected by storms and floods. This could be integrated into the Prime Minister’s Opening Ceremony speech or set up as donation areas within the Fairgrounds for enterprises and citizens to participate easily.
Regarding ceremony scripts: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism must finalize the detailed scripts for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Regarding communication and promotion: The Ministry of Industry and Trade should continue to provide information to the media and intensify communication before, during, and after the event. Media agencies should proactively engage with participating localities and enterprises to gather rich content, highlight their products, and amplify the significance of the Fair. Many businesses wish to promote their brands, making this a prime opportunity to enhance the image of the Autumn Fair 2025.
Regarding funding: The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to complete approval procedures for funding allocation to ministries, agencies, and financially constrained localities by October 20, ensuring lawful, timely disbursement to support organizational activities.
Regarding the innovation and technology pavilion: The Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, should accelerate progress in this area. About 30 enterprises have registered for booths in the innovation and international technology zone, which should be completed and arranged to create a highlight for the Fair.
Finally, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Fair’s Press Center to continuously supply materials and information to national and local media outlets. He emphasized that communication efforts should not be limited to mainstream channels but should also extend to the city’s main streets and routes leading to VEC through banners, slogans and logos to maximize the Fair’s visibility and public engagement.
