Ministry of Industry and Trade Issues 2026 Administrative Reform Work Plan

In 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade identifies seven key focus areas in its administrative reform work plan.

Under Decision No. 3739/QD-BCT dated December 25, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued its Administrative Reform Work Plan for 2026. The decision is made pursuant to Government Decree No. 40/2025/ND-CP dated February 26, 2025, which stipulates the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Government Resolution No. 76/NQ-CP dated July 15, 2021, approving the Master Program on State Administrative Reform for the 2021–2030 period.

The plan is also based on Decision No. 2169/QD-BCT dated September 20, 2021, by the Minister of Industry and Trade, which promulgates the Ministry’s Master Program on Administrative Reform for the 2021–2030 period.

Accordingly, in 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade sets out seven key groups of priorities in its administrative reform agenda. These include institutional reform; reform of administrative procedures; reform of the state administrative apparatus; building and improving the quality of the contingent of civil servants and public employees; public finance reform; development of e-government and digital government; and strengthening leadership, direction and administration of administrative reform.
