Dear leaders, reporters, editors and employees of press and communications agencies across Vietnam's industry and trade sector,
On the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026), on behalf of the Party Committee and leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, I would like to extend my warm regards and best wishes to generations of officials and media professionals working in journalism and communications throughout the sector.
Dear comrades,
Over more than a century of development and growth, Vietnam's revolutionary press has made significant contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause, helping strengthen the great national unity bloc, foster social consensus, and advance the country's renewal and development process. Inheriting and promoting that proud tradition, press and communications agencies of the industry and trade sector have continuously expanded and strengthened through various stages of development, affirming their role as official information channels and effective bridges connecting the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the business community and the public. They have helped bring the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, as well as the sector's directions and activities into practice.
On behalf of the Party Committee and the ministry's leadership, I highly appreciate and commend the practical and important contributions made by press and communications agencies and media professionals across the industry and trade sector in recent years.
Dear comrades,
Vietnam is entering a new stage of development, with opportunities and challenges intertwined, requiring stronger, more comprehensive and synchronized reforms across all sectors in line with the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Party's strategic resolutions. In this context, the industry and trade sector is making every effort to translate assigned policies, orientations and development goals into concrete actions. The entire sector is determined to effectively and synchronously implement key tasks, including improving institutions and policies; promoting green transition in conjunction with ensuring national energy security and digital transformation as a strategic breakthrough; restructuring industry and trade in association with industrial science and technological innovation; developing autonomous supply chains; accelerating administrative reforms; and enhancing deep and effective international integration. Through these efforts, the sector will continue to affirm its pioneering and core role in industrial, energy and trade development, making positive contributions to the country's rapid and sustainable growth objectives and strengthening Vietnam's position in global value chains.
To successfully fulfill the goals and tasks set forth, the support and companionship of press and communications agencies are of particular importance. I hope that each media organization and every journalist in the industry and trade sector will not only perform well in information dissemination and communication activities but also fulfill their mission of strongly promoting innovation, inspiring aspirations for contribution, and fostering development throughout the sector.
In response to the demands of the digital era and the development trends of modern journalism, media professionals in the industry and trade sector must continuously enhance their political steadfastness, professional ethics, capabilities and digital transformation mindset to master technology and disseminate official information, thereby making important contributions to the successful implementation of the sector's overall tasks and living up to the trust placed in them by the Party, the State and the people.
With the achievements attained in recent years, together with their experience, dedication and strong sense of responsibility, I firmly believe that the press and communications community of the industry and trade sector will continue to remain united, make greater efforts, and foster creativity to successfully and excellently fulfill all assigned responsibilities.
I wish all comrades and your families good health, happiness and success.
Yours sincerely,
Le Manh Hung
Member of the Party Central Committee,
Secretary of the Ministry's Party Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade.
