Promoting trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and Liechtenstein
On June 12, the Vietnam Trade Office in Bern held a working session with Allen Vogt, representative of the Embassy of Liechtenstein Office in Bern, Switzerland.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of bilateral trade and investment cooperation and discussed advantages and potential opportunities for collaboration in areas such as finance, high-tech industries, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, dentistry, tourism and other sectors of interest to the business communities of both countries.

The two sides also exchanged updates on the progress of negotiations for the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). They agreed to strengthen information exchange on investment and business opportunities for enterprises from both countries, given the relatively limited understanding of each other's markets. The two sides also agreed to promote exchanges of delegations at various levels for trade and investment promotion activities based on the practical cooperation and business connectivity needs of enterprises in both countries.
Regarding coordination between representative offices, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation between the Vietnam Trade Office in Bern and the Embassy of Liechtenstein Office in Bern. Under the arrangement, the Liechtenstein side will support the Vietnam Trade Office in expanding and strengthening connections with the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vaduz to implement activities aimed at supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing the market and connecting with suitable partners in Liechtenstein. The two sides will also coordinate in promoting the Vietnam International Sourcing 2026 event, which will be organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City from September 3 - 5, 2026.
The two sides also discussed several activities planned for implementation in the coming period, including business seminars on the Vietnam-EFTA FTA, arrangements for visits and working sessions with relevant agencies in Vaduz, and various other business networking activities.
