Ministry of Industry and Trade launches 2026 “Green Booth - Energy Saving” programme

The programme aims to raise public awareness of energy conservation and efficient energy use, promote green production and foster green consumption habits across society. Under the initiative, 25 Green Booths will be organised nationwide across the country's three regions, primarily in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Green Booth serves as a platform to showcase, connect and share solutions, technologies and exemplary models for energy efficiency in industry and buildings. It also introduces products certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as having the highest energy performance ratings.

In 2026, 25 Green Booths will be organised simultaneously across the three regions, with most activities taking place in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. On the morning of June 24, 2026, the first Green Booth was launched at the Hanoi International Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition 2026 (ENTECH HANOI 2026).

Nguyen Thi Lam Giang, Director of the Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industry Promotion, introduces the Green Booth exhibition space.

The initiative is an important activity under the National Programme on Energy Efficiency and Conservation for the 2019 - 2030 period, contributing to the implementation of national goals on green transition, greenhouse gas emissions reduction and sustainable economic development.

Each booth is designed as an interactive space providing information on energy-efficient solutions, technologies, models and products for both daily life and production activities.

Twenty-five Green Booths will be organised nationwide from June to December 2026.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade expects the programme to encourage businesses to innovate technologies and improve high energy-efficiency products. Through a series of activities, the programme is expected to enhance public awareness of green consumption and efficient energy use while promoting the practical adoption of energy-saving solutions and generating positive spillover effects in localities nationwide.

Visitors explore high energy-performance products showcased at the booth.

In particular, the Green Booth programme serves as an important bridge connecting manufacturers and suppliers of energy-saving equipment directly with consumers, distribution partners and the market. It is expected to create momentum for enterprises to innovate technologies, improve product designs and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese products in both domestic and international markets.

At each venue, the Green Booth programme features a wide range of interactive activities and prize-winning games with meaningful gifts. Visitors to the booths will also receive consultations on energy-efficient solutions, technologies, models and products.

The next stop of the Green Booth programme will be the Rural Industrial Products Fair and Exhibition at the Da Nang Exhibition Fair Center from July 1 to July 5, 2026.
