According to the report presented at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan stated that the Ministry has completed the consolidation of funding requests from ministries, central agencies, and localities for participation in the Fair, and submitted them to the Ministry of Finance for appraisal and approval.

The Ministry of Finance is reviewing and allocating funds to ensure efficiency and economy, while guiding ministries, sectors, and localities in contractor selection and cost estimation for Fair activities.

Vingroup has completed the overall design and decoration of the Fair, including exhibition zoning, logo, and unified branding, which have been approved by the Fair’s Steering Committee.

The Organizing Committee has received registration for about 3,000 booths from more than 2,500 organizations and enterprises effectively meeting the set target.

The exhibited industries will include a wide range of fields such as heavy and light industries, cultural industries, science and technology, innovation, agriculture, food processing, services, trade, and consumer goods.

All provinces and cities nationwide have received their exhibition spaces and are preparing their local pavilions according to the plan.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to instruct Vietnamese trade offices abroad to promote the Fair widely and attract international enterprises.

During the event, ten specialized seminars and an online export forum are expected to take place, with the participation of major global corporations such as Amazon and Alibaba. The Fair is scheduled to open at 9 a.m. on October 26 and conclude on November 4. In addition, a charitable fundraising activity will be organized to support people affected by severe floods in northern and central Vietnam.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son praised the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup, and relevant agencies for their proactive coordination and efforts in meeting deadlines.

He instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review assigned tasks and prepare for the full rehearsal on October 24. The Ministry of Finance was requested to announce central budget support for ministries, agencies, and localities by October 14.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that all products displayed at the Fair must be representative, with strict quality control. The Fair should also ensure areas for visitors to rest and dine, with hygiene and food safety guaranteed.

The 2025 Autumn Fair will be the first of its kind in Vietnam notable for its “three mosts”: the largest scale (around 3,000 booths), the largest and most modern venue (approximately 100,000 m2), and the largest number of participants (all 34 provinces and cities, ministries, agencies, major corporations, private enterprises, and international businesses).

The Fair is expected to serve as a major trade promotion platform to stimulate domestic consumption, boost production and business activities, expand exports and imports, and attract both enterprises and consumers. It will play an important role in helping achieve the national economic growth target of over 8% in 2025 and lay the foundation for double-digit growth in the following years.
