Minister Nguyen Hong Dien holds working session with ThaiBev Group

On December 5, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien held a working session with the Chairman of ThaiBev Group and senior leaders of Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO).

Representatives from various departments and agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade attended the meeting. From ThaiBev Group, senior executives and relevant division heads were also present.

During the session, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien welcomed ThaiBev’s leadership to the Ministry and expressed appreciation for the group’s business performance and long-term investment commitments in Vietnam. “We value the Group’s contributions to Vietnam’s economy and society in recent years,” the Minister said.

Highlighting opportunities for cooperation and building sustainable value, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that Vietnam consistently encourages investors with clear strategies to participate in sustainable value chains. As a country with strong potential in agriculture and agricultural processing, Vietnam offers various preferential policies for enterprises investing in high-tech agriculture and deep processing.

The Minister expressed hope that ThaiBev would view Vietnam not only as a consumption market but also as a strategic production base, thereby enhancing the value of its global supply chain. This approach, he noted, would enable the company to leverage Vietnam’s inherent strengths. He also affirmed the desire to see the bilateral partnership deepen and become more effective, not only in business goals but also in creating sustainable value for the community and contributing meaningfully to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

On behalf of ThaiBev Group, Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, reaffirmed the Group’s strong confidence in Vietnam’s investment environment. He emphasized ThaiBev’s long-standing commitment to the Vietnamese market and its desire to support Vietnam’s national growth agenda, while encouraging member companies to expand investment through a constructive dialogue framework between Government and business.

ThaiBev’s leadership also pledged continued investment in technology, quality enhancement, improved consumer experience, and contributions to improving the quality of life for Vietnamese people.

“We have always maintained our commitment and confidence when investing in Vietnam, demonstrated through tangible results and achievements throughout our cooperation. Every investment has been carried out seriously and responsibly, with the desire to support Vietnam in enhancing its competitiveness from the perspective of a long-term investor,” Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi emphasized.
