165 Doanh nghiệp kinh doanh than và khoáng sản Indonesia bị thu hồi giấy phép kinh doanh
Hiện nay, chính phủ Indonesia đang tiến hành việc rà soát toàn bộ lại hoạt động khai thác, kinh doanh khoáng sản nhằm đảm bảo khai thác sử, dụng có hiệu quả nguồn tài nguyên khoáng sản với số lượng dự kiến giấy phép bị thu hồi trong năm 2022 lên tới 2.343 giấy phép thuộc các nhóm tài nguyên khoáng sản: than, vàng, nikel, cobalt, măng-gan và một số loại khoáng sản khác. Quá trình thu hồi sẽ được tiến hành theo từng giai đoạn trong năm 2022.
Trong những nỗ lực nhằm chấn chỉnh lại hoạt động khai thác, kinh doanh khoáng sản tại Indonesia, ngày 16/02/2022, Bộ Đầu tư Indonesia có thông báo quyết định thu hồi 180 giấy phép kinh doanh khoáng sản (IUP) của 165 doanh nghiệp kinh doanh than và khoáng sản nước này. Trong danh sách doanh nghiệp bị thu hồi giấy phép có 68 giấy phép kinh doanh than và 112 giấy phép kinh doanh khoáng sản của 165 công ty và cá nhân. Theo Bộ Đầu tư Indonesia, các doanh nghiệp bị thu hồi giấy phép đã có những vi phạm qui định của pháp luật hiện hành hiện hành và việc thu hồi không nhằm vào bất kỳ nhóm đối tượng nào.
Nhằm hạn chế những rủi ro từ việc chính phủ Indonesia thu hồi giấy phép kinh doanh khoáng sản và các đối tác Indonesia thiếu năng lực, các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam cần thận trọng trong trong lựa chọn các đối tác Indonesia, nên lựa chọn các đối tác đã có hoạt động khai thác kinh doanh khoáng sản lâu năm, đã có các hoạt động xuất khẩu thực tế, tìm hiểu kỹ về thông tin đối tác, kiểm tra giấy phép có thuộc diện bị thu hồi. Thường xuyên theo dõi thông tin cập nhật về chính sách quản lý về kinh doanh khoáng sản qua các trang thông tin điện tử Bộ Tài nguyên và Khoáng sản và Bộ Đầu tư Indonesia hoặc qua văn phòng Thương vụ Việt Nam tại Indonesia.
